All new players to the AHA are required to attend an Evaluation. At our Evaluation you will be run through a few on-ice drills and then have a scrimmage in the time remaining. During this time our team of evaluators will determine what level of play you are best suited for. If you are not looking to play with other specific players, you will be placed on a team in your appropriate skill level.

If you are brand new to the sport of hockey with no organized experience previously, you should consider our Beginner School.

To be assigned a spot in an Evaluation you must register online. We do not accept walk-up registrations unless previously arranged by the Registration Coordinator

When you attend an Evaluation we request that you bring full equipment for your own protection. Please arrive 30 minutes before the Evaluation to check in and get dressed. You will need to participate in the session for the full 90 minutes. More details will be emailed to you shortly before your scheduled evaluation session.
