The AHA Hockey, Inc. (AHA) takes privacy and data protection issues seriously. We have designed this Privacy Policy to explain how we handle personally identifiable information collected from particpants who register for services, purchase products and submit information to AHA through the Internet.

Scope of this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy covers AHA's treatment of personally identifiable information collected from participants who register for AHA services, as well as consumer information that we acquire in the course of our business. This Policy also covers the treatment of personally identifiable information that AHA's business partners may share with it.

This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that AHA does not own or control, or to people that AHA does not employ or manage. AHA is a private corporation. This Policy is specific to AHA.

Information Collection and Use

AHA collects personally identifiable information when you register for an AHA product or service. AHA may also receive personally identifiable information from its business partners.

When you register with AHA, we ask for your contact information (such as your name, street address and e-mail address), along with billing information such as a bank account and/or credit card number.

AHA uses the information collected to fulfill your requests for certain services, to process payment transactions, to facilitate billing, and otherwise deliver the AHA products and services. We may also send newsletters, participant surveys and periodic notices about upcoming events, specials and new products. Personally identifiable consumer information is used to process payment transactions and for no other purpose.

AHA does not offer services or sell products to children. AHA does not request or knowingly collect personally identifiable contact information from anyone under the age of 13.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Protecting personally identifiable information about consumers is an important part of our business. We share and disclose such information only as described below.

AHA may send personally identifiable information about you to other companies or people when: 1) we have your consent to share the information or; 2) we need to share your information to provide the product or service you have requested or; 3) we need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of AHA to provide a product or service to you (unless we tell you differently these companies do not have any right to use the personally identifiable information we provide them beyond what is necessary to assist us).

Personally identifiable consumer information is shared with third parties (such as banks and credit card processors) to the extent necessary for AHA to process payments and register participants with USA Hockey.

We also may release personally identifiable information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with law; enforce or apply our Terms of Registration and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of AHA, our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and risk reduction.

Information Security

Information security is critical to our business. The people involved that have access to this data is limited. Our Internet Service Providers and Gateway providers use firewalls and other security technology including Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information to prevent our data from being accessed by unauthorized persons.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

AHA reserves the right to modify or amend this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. If there are material changes to this statement or in how AHA will use personally identifiable information, AHA will post notices on the AHA news page at www.ahahockey.com prior to implementing the change.
